Job description

The team is building and driving critical services that power the new AI native web apps and plugins registries, runtime and rendering. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a massive impact on Intuit's transformation into an AI-driven expert platform. Come join Intuit's GenUX team as a Staff Software Developer to help shape how Intuit designs, crafts, operates, and runs web applications.

We are seeking a Staff Software Developer, Front End with a strong passion for building successful web applications, services, and APIs that deliver big value to customers. You are comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and changes. You love to take initiative, and have a bias towards action.  You are not afraid to tackle difficult problems and dive into new technologies.

Intuit has embraced a hybrid working model and this role will be based out of our Toronto office 3 days per week.


Responsibilities

  • Drive large-scale projects to completion, from inception to production.
  • Interface directly with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery
  • Mentor other team members and foster a culture of growth.
  • Operate in a fast-moving environment, make quick decisions, and execute fiercely to deliver outcomes.
  • Take passion in going deep into critical issues and apply the learnings back into the product and team, whether technical or procedural.
  • Deep empathy for and staunch advocacy for the customer.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of overall fullstack experience - we use Node/React and Java
  • BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience building and operating large-scale, consumer-facing web applications and services.
  • Proficiency in server-side technologies, cloud technologies, web development, and the desire to work in a multi-disciplinary team operating in a DevOps model.
  • Expertise in service design, discovery, and runtime orchestration systems would be a strong asset.
  • Experience building and operating high traffic services & APIs is highy preferred.

The expected base pay range for this position is:
Toronto $164,500 - $222,500
