Job description

Whether you come from a background in full stack development, digital marketing technology, or a related field, you can be successful in this role. We don’t require a particular degree or experience, but we’re looking for translatable skills and relevant expertise. Specifically, we’ll be looking for the following qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in web development or similar software development roles
  • Proficient in PHP and MySQL, with working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like jQuery
  • Experience working within the LAMP stack and templating engines like Twig
  • Comfortable using version control, continuous integration, and delivery tools like Git, Jenkins, and Perforce
  • System design and architecture experience preferred
About The Role:

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll build and maintain marketing-focused web applications, digital assets, and backend functionality that support major business initiatives. You’ll partner closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to bring projects from concept to completion. You’ll also help us integrate new technologies—including AI tools—into our workflows to improve efficiency and performance. This role requires a strong mix of technical skill and creativity, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.

This position is an in-person position in Columbia, Missouri and we are only considering candidates located in or around Columbia, MO or who are willing to relocate.

Here’s a snapshot of what you’d be doing:

  • Building and optimizing backend functionality using PHP and MySQL to support marketing campaigns and digital assets.
  • Creating responsive websites, landing pages, and email templates using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and templating tools like Twig.
  • Integrating third-party APIs and marketing automation tools to improve user experience and internal processes.
  • Collaborating with designers and marketing stakeholders to translate ideas into technical solutions that align with business goals.
  • Working in a Linux environment using Kubernetes and modern deployment tools to manage and scale applications.
  • Staying current with the latest trends in web development, UX, and digital marketing—bringing new ideas to the table.
  • Using analytics tools to monitor site performance and user behavior, making data-informed improvements along the way.
  • Pitching in wherever needed (excluding licensed tasks) to help foster a supportive and collaborative team culture.
About You:
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and love working as part of a team.
  • You’re a great communicator—whether it’s writing or speaking, you know how to get your point across clearly and effectively.
  • Providing exceptional customer service is second nature to you, and you always put people first.
  • You know how to build strong, positive relationships and enjoy working with people.
  • You’re self-motivated and take initiative without needing constant direction.
  • You’re comfortable working across teams and departments to get things done.
