Lone Star Management is a growing, multi-entity organization supporting manufacturing, distribution, and operational businesses across the United States. We leverage enterprise systems to drive efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making. We are seeking a skilled Sage X3 Developer to support and enhance our ERP environment.


Position Summary

The Sage X3 Developer will play a critical role in the development, customization, integration, and ongoing support of our Sage X3 ERP system. This role partners closely with business users, analysts, and leadership to translate operational needs into effective technical solutions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and customize Sage X3 modules, workflows, and reports

  • Design and implement custom objects, screens, and processes using Sage X3 native tools (4GL, X3 Script)

  • Create and maintain integrations between Sage X3 and third-party systems using APIs, web services, and data exchanges

  • Develop and optimize Crystal Reports, inquiries, and dashboards

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the Sage X3 environment

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions

  • Support system upgrades, patches, and version migrations

  • Maintain technical documentation and development standards

  • Provide technical support and guidance to users and internal teams

  • Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on Sage X3 development experience

  • Proficiency with Sage X3 development languages (4GL, X3 Script)

  • Strong understanding of Sage X3 architecture and data dictionary

  • Experience with SQL (SQL Server preferred)

  • Knowledge of web services, APIs, and integration technologies

  • Understanding of ERP business processes (Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, Sales)


Preferred Qualifications
  • Sage X3 Certification

  • Experience with Sage X3 Version 12+
