Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Web Developer to take ownership of their eCommerce site built on Shopify Plus. The IT team recently assumed responsibility for the site from the marketing organization and has identified a roadmap of fixes and enhancements aimed at improving site performance and elevating the overall customer experience. This is a hands-on development role where you will have direct, visible impact on a revenue-generating platform.


Location: Onsite (Downtown Cincinnati)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and existing application functionality to design, develop, and implement effective software solutions.
  • Build and maintain Shopify Plus page templates, content modules, reusable sections, and theme components using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to prioritize fixes, enhancements, and platform configuration changes.
  • Identify and implement performance optimizations and customer experience improvements across the eCommerce platform


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional web development, software development, or related technical experience.
  • Experience developing front-end applications utilizing JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web development frameworks and practices.
  • Familiarity with developing and maintaining websites utilizing Shopify or Shopify Plus, including Liquid templating, theme customization, and platform configuration . Shopify Plus experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of modern web development principles, responsive design concepts, web standards, and software development best practices
