POSITION SUMMARY

The Web Designer will play a key part in designing and building engaging digital experiences across websites, microsites, and user interfaces. They will partner closely with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life while ensuring best practices in both design and development. The Web Designer has ability to work hands-on, translating business needs into clean, user-friendly digital solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and build visually engaging, user-friendly websites and digital experiences
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and UI layouts based on project requirements
  • Write and maintain clean, efficient HTML and CSS code
  • Support front-end development, including coding websites from scratch
  • Collaborate with internal teams to shape digital strategy and user experience
  • Integrate content and data from back-end services and databases
  • Maintain, update, and optimize existing websites for performance and usability
  • Document technical specifications and project requirements
  • Stay current on digital design trends, tools, and emerging technologies
  • Additional duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in digital design and front-end development
  • Strong portfolio showcasing website and UI design work
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)
  • Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, Bootstrap, and Visual Studio
  • Understanding of SEO best practices in web design
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
