Job description

The Web Content Strategist is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the organization's brand, business, and user goals. This role blends content strategy and editorial with cross functional team alignment with information architecture, SEO, and marketing teams to ensure a consistent and high-impact content experience across digital platforms. In this role, the Web Content Strategist has strong editorial judgment, understands web UX principles, and thrives in a collaborative environment with marketers, designers, developers, and subject matter experts.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to audit existing content, identify gaps, and recommend improvements based on user insights and SEO best practices.
  • Develop and implement content strategies that support website goals, user journeys, and brand messaging.
  • Create and manage content frameworks, templates, messaging hierarchies, and page-level content plans.
  • Use data and analytics to evaluate content performance and guide iterative improvements.
  • Own and manage on-domain merchandising calendars and strategies by planning and coordinating content placements and aligning with business and marketing stakeholders.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Work Experience: 5+ years of experience in content strategy, digital content, or web editorial roles.
  • Knowledge of content strategy methodologies, SEO, user behavior, digital marketing, and accessibility.
  • Comprehensive understanding of how to apply user-centered design in content strategy and content lifecycle management.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $87,700 to $148,400 at the time of posting. This range is inclusive of all geographic locations within the United States*. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of an offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
*Minimum reflects our lowest paying locations, and the top end reflects our highest paying locations. The range in your geographic location will vary but will be within the indicated ranges.
