Job Summary:
ECOM is a company looking for an experienced full-stack web application developer capable of developing cloud-based applications and maintaining existing on-premise applications. The role involves working with stakeholders to scope application rebuild efforts and implementing necessary functionalities while supporting web infrastructure and application maintenance.
Responsibilities:
• developing the cloud-based applications from the ground-up
• maintaining the existing on-premise application portfolio
• providing development support for the end-users
• work with the application/service stakeholders to scope application rebuild efforts
• design and implement front-end and back-end functionalities necessary for the new applications
• participate in the web application lifecycle from start to finish
• coordinating testing and client approvals
• production rollouts and updates
• support web infrastructure by providing applications maintenance
• cloud deployment or migrations of the backend services
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 4 years (Minimum)
• Related web development experience in any of the following areas: Front-end frameworks, such as Vue, React, or Angular
• JavaScript, PHP and/or Python
• AWS or GCP platform knowledge
• SalesForce and Oracle Cloud Knowledge
• Operation of Apache/NGINX web servers on Linux platform
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop complex web applications using open source tools, languages, libraries and current standards-compliant code
• Ability to build front-end web applications utilizing one of the common frameworks, such as Vue, Angular, or React and integrate with the back-end services
• Knowledge of web content management and cloud services such as AWS or GCP
• Expert level knowledge of front-end development languages and ability to hand code HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Understanding of single sign-on authentication, role-based access security
• Knowledge of the back-end setup for databases, API end-points, and application hosting
• Ability to write, compile, test, debug and deploy web applications
• Implements and maintains content management systems
• Evaluates third-party modules for functionality, accessibility, security, and maintainability
• Ensures web server and site technical performance
• Performs selected website administration duties for existing clients
• Supports the implementation of life-cycle
Preferred:
• Coursework in computer science, management information systems, or related field
• Four years of web application development and maintenance, SQL/NoSQL experience with mobile application development for iOS/Android
• Knowledge of best practices for application design
• Experience building back-end services with cloud vendors
• Understanding of XML/XSL and JSON, REST APIs
• Experience with Drupal 8 maintenance, module and core updates with drush
