Job description

About Us

AnZ Collects is one of the largest and fastest-growing comic and collectibles businesses on eBay Live and Tiktok. We specialize in comics, Funko Pops, Pokémon/TCG, sports cards, and exclusive blind bag projects, often collaborating with world-renowned artists and publishers. Our brand has a strong presence at major conventions (SDCC, NYCC, Fan Expo, etc.) and across social media platforms, where we engage thousands of collectors daily.

Position Overview

Please be advised this is not remote.

We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media Content Creator to help grow AnZ Collects’ online presence and community. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes comics and pop culture, understands social trends, and knows how to turn content into engagement and sales. You’ll be responsible for producing daily content across multiple platforms, managing our brand voice, and traveling to major conventions to capture live content.

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and publish daily content (short-form video, reels, posts, stories, email blasts, etc.) across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Email.
  • Collaborate with the AnZ Comics team to brainstorm campaign ideas and showcase products, artists, and convention highlights.
  • Monitor trends, memes, and collector culture to keep content fresh and engaging.
  • Grow engagement, followers, and community interaction on all platforms.
  • Assist with live coverage at major conventions (SDCC, NYCC, Fan Expo, Heroes Con, etc.)—capturing behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, and live updates.
  • Track performance metrics and recommend strategies to improve reach and engagement.

Compensation & Growth

  • Hourly pay: $22–$25/hour.
  • Growth opportunities as AnZ Comics continues to expand its media presence.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook algorithms and trends.
  • Experience creating and editing short-form video content (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, etc. a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a sense of humor and creativity.
  • Passion for comics, collectibles, pop culture, or similar fandoms.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to hit daily content goals.
  • Willingness to travel to major conventions several times per year.
  • Prior social media, marketing, or content creation experience preferred.

Perks

  • Be part of a fast-growing brand in the comic and collectibles industry.
  • Travel to the biggest pop culture conventions in the U.S.
  • Access to exclusive products, artists, and events.
  • Bonus revenue share that grows with your success.
