Software Developer- (Integration, Mobile & Web Dev)

Job Description

We are seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise applications, integrations, and digital solutions that enable business operations across Worthington Enterprises. This role is responsible for building and maintaining web and mobile applications, developing enterprise integrations and APIs, and collaborating with business and technical teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The ideal candidate will have experience with modern web and mobile development frameworks, REST API development, SQL, cloud integrations, and AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and OpenAI technologies. Experience with Salesforce Apex & Lightning Web Components, Oracle Fusion technical development and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) will be plus.

This is a hybrid role, spending at least 3 days/week on site in Columbus, OH. Ability and willingness to travel to support business initiatives. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship, and relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities Application Development
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web and mobile applications using React JS, React Native, and the Expo Framework.
  • Build scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications and mobile solutions.
  • Develop and support RESTful APIs, enterprise integrations, and cloud‑based solutions.
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Follow established coding standards, security practices, and change management procedures.
  • Maintain technical documentation and system specifications.
Integration & Support
  • Develop and support Oracle Fusion technical solutions (e.g., Fast formulas and extracts) and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and mobile device issues.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions.
AI‑Enabled Development
  • Utilize AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, and ChatGPT to improve productivity, code quality, and solution delivery.
  • Explore and implement Generative AI solutions to enhance business processes and applications.
Required Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience developing and supporting web and mobile applications.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and integrating with enterprise applications.
  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements, solve problems, and deliver technology solutions.
  • Strong experience with:
    • React JS
    • React Native
    • Expo Framework
    • JavaScript / TypeScript
    • HTML5 / CSS3
    • Python
  • Proficiency with Git, Visual Studio Code (VS Code), and modern software development practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

  • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with AI technologies, including:
