Job description

Responsibilities

Technica Corporation is seeking a Web Application Developer, Mid who will build and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and/or ModelDriven) to support business processes and user workflows.  Develop, test, and optimize cloud flows in Power Automate to automate business tasks and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, and views to support application needs.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes or improvements.
  • Create Power BI reports or dashboards, or support data modeling as needed.
  • Participate in solution packaging, deployments between environments, and basic ALM activities.
  • Write technical documentation, user guides, and configuration notes for developed solutions.
  • Follow established development standards, governance practices, and security guidelines.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and technical decisions with team members and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to design discussions and recommend enhancements based on best practices and user feedback.

 The position would be located at a government facility in Washington, D.C. and require work to be performed onsite. Any hybrid work schedule would require customer approval. The government has established policies for on-site vs hybrid work which varies across divisions and contracts. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.

The annual base salary range for this position is $96,500 - $100,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Technica considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, location, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Top-Secret with SCI and CI Poly eligibility
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent educations and/or experience.
  • 5 years experience (expert-level) building solutions using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), and Power Automate
  • Hands-on experience building solutions with Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-Driven).
  • Proficiency with Power Automate for developing cloud flows and process automations.
  • Working knowledge of Dataverse, data modeling concepts, and building relationships between tables.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Power Fx and basic JavaScript for extending app logic.
  • Ability to build dashboards and reports using Power BI (bonus for model design experience).
  • Understanding of solution packaging, environment usage, and basic ALM practices.
  • Experience consuming REST APIs and working with connectors.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders, analysts, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while also contributing to team projects.
  • Comfortable working in iterative or agile development environments.

  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue, and Node.js
