Job Title: Mid-Level Full Stack DeveloperLocation-Type: Remote (Must Work EST Hours)Start Date Is: August 17Duration: Approximately 2.5-Month Contract (Through October 30)Compensation Range: $55-65/hr

Job Description:Seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to support a high-profile website rebrand, migration, and product enhancement initiative. This role is approximately a 50/50 split between frontend and backend development, with a strong emphasis on React, JavaScript, CSS, AI-assisted development, and collaboration within an Agile team to deliver a successful website launch on an aggressive timeline.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Support a nonprofit website rebrand, including new branding, UI updates, and responsive design changes
  • Participate in a website and domain migration, with potential server migration support
  • Build and maintain both frontend and backend functionality
  • Develop reusable React components and maintain accessible, responsive interfaces
  • Complete assigned Agile sprint tickets and participate in daily standups and sprint planning
  • Implement analytics, third-party integrations, and AI-assisted product enhancements
  • Utilize AI development tools, including Cursor, throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with engineering teammates, designers, and non-technical stakeholders to deliver project milestones
  • Troubleshoot, test, and deploy production-ready code within compressed project timelines

Requirements:

  • Must-Haves:
    • 3–5 years of professional full stack web development experience
    • Strong experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
    • Backend development experience supporting web applications and integrations
    • Experience with website migrations, redesigns, or rebranding initiatives
    • Experience working with enterprise or headless CMS platforms
    • Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards
    • Experience using Git and modern Agile development workflows
    • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor preferred)
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Comfortable joining an active Agile project and contributing immediately
