Job description

At Best Buy, we create meaningful experiences for our customers across every channel. As a Senior Analyst, Digital Analytics, you'll play a key role in shaping those experiences by delivering insights that drive smarter decisions and better outcomes. In this role, you'll uncover how customers engage across our digital ecosystem including web, mobile, and in-store touchpoints, and translate data into actionable strategies that enhance the customer journey and fuel business growth.
This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days on site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another nonBest Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team, and the recruiter or hiring manager will provide additional details during the hiring process.
What you'll do
  • Analyze digital customer behavior (funnel performance, clickstream, conversion trends) to identify opportunities to improve customer experience
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive decisions and measurable business impact
  • Leverage diverse data sources (web analytics, transactional, offline, and competitive) to uncover trends and opportunities
  • Partner cross-functionally to define analytics needs, support implementation, and ensure accurate data collection
  • Measure, forecast, and communicate the financial impact of recommendations and initiatives
  • Develop and maintain reporting, metrics, and data quality standards while supporting agile teams and mentoring others

Basic qualifications
  • 3 years of experience working in web analytics or related areas, retail industry or with multi-channel data strongly desired.
  • 2 years of experience with a web analytics tool (e.g. Adobe, Coremetrics, Webtrends or Google Analytics).
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization.

Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Mathematics OR related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience/familiarity with concepts of database design and SQL
  • 1 or more years' experience with A/B or multivariate testing tools and technologies
  • 1 or more years' experience with Voice of Customer/Customer Satisfaction/site feedback tools and their integration into web analytics systems
  • Web Analytics Certification
