Their insights help organizations make data-driven decisions to improve website effectiveness, optimize marketing strategies, and enhance user experience. Additionally, they often collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to implement changes based on their findings.

Job description

Web Growth Marketing Manager

at Amplitude (View all jobs)

San Francisco, Bay Area

Amplitude is the leading AI-first digital analytics platform, helping over 4,300 customers-including Atlassian, Burger King, NBCUniversal, Square, and Under Armour-build better products and digital experiences. With powerful AI Agents embedded across our platform, teams can analyze, test, and optimize user experiences faster than ever. Ranked #1 across multiple categories in G2's Fall 2025 Report, Amplitude is the best-in-class solution for product, data, and marketing teams. Learn more at amplitude.com.ย

As an organization, we deliver for our customers by living our values. We operate from a place of humility, take ownership of problems and successes, approach challenges with a growth mindset, and put our customers at the center of everything we do.

Amplitude's Commitment to Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI): Amplitude believes that diversity enables the creation of better products, improves the ability to solve complex problems, and drives more powerful solutions. We strive to create an environment of inclusion-one focused on psychological safety, empathy, and human connection-that will allow employees of all backgrounds to thrive.ย

About The Role & Team
  • You'll own one of our most critical growth levers - amplitude.com - with impact on strategy, not just execution.
  • You'll work on the frontier of AI-powered marketing. We're actively integrating AI-native workflows across everything we build. And we recently partnered with Statsig to expand our experimentation portfolio.ย
  • You'll have dedicated resources: web engineers and brand/growth designers who are aligned to this function - so you can move fast and build with craft.
  • You'll sit within a larger integrated marketing team, giving you broad leverage across campaigns, product launches, and PLG and sales pipeline initiatives.
  • Amplitude is the category leader in digital analytics and experimentation - and you'll be one of its most expert users, running experiments and optimization using the very product we sell.
ย

ย As a Growth Marketing Managerย  you will:ย

ย

Website Strategy & Ownership

  • Own amplitude.com as a strategic growth engine - defining site architecture, user journeys, and content strategy that drives both self-serve growth and enterprise pipeline.
  • Build a forward-looking roadmap grounded in performance data, experimentation insights, and a clear POV on what moves the business.
  • Own and scale the Sanity CMS platform, building it into a self-serve system that empowers teams across the org to publish independently.

Conversion & Experimentation

  • Design and continuously optimize conversion-focused experiences across product pages, pricing, demo request flows, and campaign landing pages.
  • Lead experimentation and measurement strategy using Amplitude Analytics and Web Experiment to improve engagement, conversion, and pipeline generation across web surfaces.
  • Analyze website-attributed pipeline in Salesforce, surfacing trends across GTM segments and win/loss patterns to guide investment decisions.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner closely with web engineering to ship new capabilities - you're a peer in the build process, not a gatekeeper.
  • Collaborate across Marketing, Product, Growth, Sales, and Engineering - navigating tradeoffs with a clear business POV and strong stakeholder communication.
  • Shape repeatable, scalable approaches for product launches and campaign experiences that maintain a high bar for performance and brand consistency.

AI-Native Ways of Working

  • Introduce and operationalize AI-native workflows (Claude, Claude Cowork, Claude Code) to accelerate content creation, site improvements, and operational efficiency.
ย

At a minimum, you need to have:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience owning or co-owning a corporate website or web growth program for a SaaS, AI, or tech company.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with engineering teams - you know how to scope, prioritize, and collaborate in a technical environment.
  • Strong experimentation mindset: you've run A/B tests and conversion optimization programs on corporate or product marketing sites.
  • Data-driven by nature - you make decisions from evidence, not intuition alone. Experience with Amplitude or a comparable analytics platform is a strong plus.
  • Experience with a headless CMS (Sanity experience a bonus; Contentful, Prismic, or similar all count).
  • Excellent cross-functional communicator who can align stakeholders across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • Background in a growth-stage startup or scaling SaaS/AI company - you're comfortable with ambiguity and know how to build systems where none exist.
  • Familiarity with AI products or AI-native workflows - bonus if you've worked at an AI company or integrated AI tooling into your marketing operations.
  • Prior exposure to PLG (product-led growth) motions alongside enterprise pipeline generation.

We care about the well-being of our team: We offer competitive pay and benefits packages that reflect our commitment to the health and well-being of our Ampliteers.

Some of our benefit programs include:

  • Excellent Medical, Dental and Vision insurance coverages, with 100% employer-paid premiums for employee Medical, Dental, Vision on select plans
  • Flexible time off, paid holidays, and more
  • Generous stipends to spend on what matters most to you, whether that's wellness (monthly), commuter transit/parking (monthly), learning and development (quarterly), home office equipment (annual), and much more
  • Excellent Parental benefits including: 12-20 weeks of Paid Parental Leave, Carrot Fertility Benefits/Adoption/Surrogacy support, Back-up Child Care supportย
  • Mental health and wellness benefits including no cost employee access to Modern Health coaching & therapy Sessions and high quality physician office experience via One Medical membership (select U.S. locations only)
  • Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)
