Bin Technician
Location: Van Buren, IN
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Summer hours may shift to 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM due to heat.)

Quality at Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing begins with the raw popcorn we receive. As a Bin Technician, you will help ensure our corn is properly stored, conditioned, and handled before it enters production.

What You'll Do:
As a Bin Technician, you will:
- Operate and maintain grain drying and storage systems
- Monitor temperature, moisture, airflow, and product quality
- Collect and test corn samples
- Prepare and clean bins between fills
- Unload incoming popcorn
- Confirm inventory and proper bin placement
- Assist with bin inspections, cleanouts, and preventive maintenance
- Probe bins and enter quality information into AS400
- Operate tractors, augers, and semi-trucks
- Support safety, quality, and efficiency improvements
Harvest Season:
Harvest generally begins in September and may continue into the following year, depending on weather. During the six- to eight-week harvest period, grain receiving may operate up to 12 hours per day, including weekends. Additional overtime may be available.
- Double Time on Sundays
- Time-and-a-Half after 40 hours worked in a workweek

Requirements
Required:
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English to perform job duties effectively and safely.
- Ability to work at heights up to 80 feet
- Flexible schedule to support operational needs, including weekends or extended shifts
- Drive a semi-truck
- Drive farm related equipment
Preferred:
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Experience with grain handling or agricultural equipment
- Basic understanding of product conditioning and storage environments
