What You'll Do
As a Weatherization Technician, you'll work directly in residential homes to improve energy efficiency and comfort by:
- Installing insulation and air sealing systems
- Performing basic home repairs and weatherization improvements
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Supporting diagnostic testing and energy-saving improvements
- Working closely with your crew to complete projects on schedule
- Maintaining safe, organized job sites
- Providing courteous, professional service to homeowners
This role includes daily travel to job sites, occasional overnight travel (up to 25%), and occasional evening or weekend work based on project needs.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for dependable, hardworking people who enjoy working with their hands and being part of a team.
Ideal candidates have experience in one or more of the following:
- Construction
- General labor
- Carpentry
- HVAC
- Insulation
- Roofing
- Remodeling
- Home repair
- Maintenance
You'll also need:
- A valid driver's license
- The ability to lift, climb ladders, work in crawl spaces, and perform physically demanding work
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
No weatherization experience? That's okay. If you have construction-related experience and a desire to learn, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.
