Job Description:

Professional Solutions1, LLC (ProSol) is looking for a highly qualified Precision Weapons Technician (Gunsmith I) to provide support on our MARSOC CLS contract. Services performed shall include various logistics support tasks necessary for continuedoperational readiness of the organization. Services required include: Ammunition Control Support and Armory Support.The candidate must have the ability to operate effectively under pressure adhering to the ProSol Core Values of Agility: rapid adaptation to the changing requirements and environment of our clients Excellence: Service quality that exceeds the expectations of our clients Integrity: Accountability and honestyalways doing the right thing and Long Term Commitment: Unquestioned loyalty and dedication to our clients, partners and employees.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide Armory support to MARSOC.
  • Perform inspection, maintenance, fabrication and repair of precision small arms and optics, to include vehicular mounted small arms.
  • Responsibilities also include using AIS such as ATLASS, GCSS-MC and SSAVIE.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Able to obtain an operators license for non-tactical/tactical Government-owned equipment and be certified to transport AA&E.
  • Screened using the AA&E Screening Package per MCO 5530.14A Marine Corps Physical Security Program and MCO 8023.3B Personnel Qualification and Certification Program for Class V Ammunition Explosives.
  • Personnel will be involved in the custody, maintenance, disposal, distribution, or security of Arms, Ammunition & Explosives (AA&E) in the performance of their duties.
Education and Experience:
  • Prior military preferred
    • MOS qualified as an Armorer (USMC 2111 or 2112), (USA 91F).
  • 4 years of experience as an Armorer after graduating from MOS school.
  • Civilian Gunsmithing experience may substitute.
  • Certified Gunsmith, when required.
  • Valid state drivers license.
