Job description

Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Weapons System Analyst to join our team at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), supporting the Air Combat Command (ACC). The Weapons System Analyst will provide critical support in analyzing, evaluating, and integrating weapons systems into operational and strategic planning. This position requires expertise in Single/Multi-Discipline ISR Analysis, weapons systems evaluation, and the ability to deliver actionable intelligence to enhance mission effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct weapons systems analysis to assess capabilities, vulnerabilities, and performance of current and emerging systems.
  • Perform Single/Multi-Discipline ISR Analysis and Multi-Int Fusion to integrate weapons systems data with other intelligence sources (e.g., GEOINT, SIGINT, HUMINT).
  • Develop and deliver high-quality intelligence products, including reports, briefings, and assessments, to inform mission planning and execution.
  • Support ISR Target Development by providing detailed analysis of weapons systems and their operational impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mission planners, operators, and intelligence analysts, to ensure timely and accurate intelligence delivery.
  • Identify intelligence gaps related to weapons systems and recommend collection strategies to address them.
  • Maintain proficiency in analytical tools, methodologies, and software to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge intelligence solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all security protocols, classification guidelines, and organizational policies.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience Level: BS/BA +8 Years experience in weapons systems analysis, ISR operations, or related fields.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in weapons systems evaluation, ISR analysis, and Multi-Int Fusion.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools, databases, and software used in weapons systems analysis.
  • Strong understanding of weapons systems capabilities, vulnerabilities, and operational applications.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for producing high-quality intelligence products and briefings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Security Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Air Combat Command (ACC) or similar ISR organizations.
  • Knowledge of ISR Target Development and operational-level intelligence planning.
  • Completion of a commercial, military, or U.S. Government weapons systems analysis training course or specialized certification.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytical tradecraft techniques and methodologies.
  • Prior experience mentoring or training junior analysts in weapons systems analysis.

Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
