Job Overview:

Lead the evolution, design, and enterprise execution of centrally managed advisory and overlay platforms (Overlay Trading, Tax Overlay, Direct Indexing, Managed Wealth), delivering scalable change, disciplined releases/conversions, and measurable improvements to advisor experience, risk posture, and quality.

  • Drive scale and efficiency workstreams across the Overlay Portfolio Management Group through standardization, process simplification, and targeted automation.

  • Establish a repeatable release and readiness model with explicit go/no-go criteria that enables Product, Technology, and vendors to ship higher-quality features with fewer defects.

  • Execute at least one major conversion/migration with strong command-center governance, minimizing advisor disruption and operational risk.

  • Establish KPI reporting (quality, NIGO/trade corrections, cycle times, incidents) and use it to prioritize durable fixes with Technology and vendors.

  • Improve advisor quality of experience through thoughtful platform design, smoother releases and conversions, and targeted transformation initiatives that reduce friction and elevate service quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end design and delivery for platform enhancements, releases, and national rollouts, including UAT strategy, validation, and readiness.

  • Partner with Product, Technology, Operations, and external vendors to shape scalable requirements, design decisions, and execution plans.

  • Lead conversions, migrations, and enterprise initiatives for centrally managed programs, including command-center support during cutovers.

  • Lead transformation and standardize workflows across Tax Overlay, Direct Indexing, Managed Wealth, and portfolio mapping; streamline cross-solution processes.

  • Lead senior managers/SMEs; set role clarity, capacity models, and an accountability culture focused on outcomes.

  • Drive root-cause analysis and durable fixes; use KPIs to manage risk, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; CFA, CFP,

  • Series 7, 65/66 required.

  • 12+ years in managed accounts, advisory platforms, trading, or financial services operations/enablement; significant people leadership at senior level.

Core Competencies:

  • Deep expertise in overlay trading and tax-aware strategies; strong cross-functional delivery with Technology, Product, and vendors.

  • Track record leading large-scale change (releases, conversions, migrations) with strong governance, risk management, and measurable quality outcomes.

  • Comprehensive understanding of trading regulations and requirements.

  • Expertise with commercial trading platforms such as InvestCloud, Vestmark, MyVest, and Charles River Development.

Pay Range:

$161,092.00 - $268,418.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
