Job description

Position: Operations Engineering Support โ€“ Circuit Card Assembly Factory, Andover, MA. This role is located on site and requires aU.S.citizen with security clearance (DoD Confidential).

Responsibilities
  • Provide operations engineering support to the Circuit Card Assembly Factory, supporting the operation of Wave Solder, Selective Solder, Router, and Mechanical Assembly lines.
  • Support automated and programmable equipment used for multiple products and programs.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, establishing baseline metrics, defect prevention, and process data analysis to reduce cycle time and defects.
  • Create and oversee projects using risk management techniques.
  • Translate engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation.
  • Program computer and machine systems for manufacturing automation.
  • Dispose of discrepant hardware and lead rootโ€‘cause and corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence.
  • Engage in costโ€‘reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodology.
  • Develop manufacturing processes and support production.
  • Conduct safety and ergonomic assessments.
  • Interact with senior personnel on technical matters, coordinating between organizations and suppliers.
  • Design tag/fixture development to improve ergonomics and reduce cost or defects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 2years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2years of manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain aU.S. governmentโ€‘issued security clearance (DoD Confidential).U.S.citizenship required.
  • Knowledge and experience with ANSI J-STD-001 Class3.
  • Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience supporting circuit card assembly production floor (process and/or quality focus).
  • Specialized tooling development (jigs, fixtures, specialized packaging development).
  • Masking development experience.

Salary range: $68,900 โ€“ $131,100 USD.
