Job Summary
 
We are currently looking for a WATERPROOFER to join our team in Decatur, GA.  As a waterproofer, you apply caulking, sealants, and coatings to footers, walls, and structural joints to prevent water from getting through. Your responsibilities include ensuring clean and proper application of caulking and other compounds while following company guidelines to complete each task. Job duties involve climbing up and down ladders, navigating difficult terrain while at high elevations, and working in all weather conditions to meet deadlines. 

Responsibilities 
  • Preparing Surfaces by cleaning, patching, or priming them before applying waterproofing materials. 
  • Applying sealants, caulking, coatings, and other waterproofing products to various surfaces. 
  • Understanding different types of waterproofing materials, their properties, and how to apply them effectively. 
  • Maintaining proper timesheets notes so that supervisor can prepare schedules for projects. 
  • Following Company Guidelines and Safety Procedures.
 Qualifications
  • Have reliable transportation and willing to travel to job sites across the greater metro Atlanta area on a daily basis 
  • Experience using power tools 
  • Ability to carry 60lbs 
  • Ability to pass a drug screening
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team 
  • Mature, trustworthy, courteous, and dependable 
  • High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
  • Ability to take and pass safety and other training classes 
  • Ability to write and speak clearly 
  • Solid initiative and logical reasoning skills
