Job description

We are seeking an experienced Stone Sawyer with hands-on experience operating a Park Industries SaberJet CNC waterjet saw. The ideal candidate will be skilled in cutting natural and engineered stone accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and program a Park Industries SaberJet CNC saw/waterjet

  • Accurately cut granite, marble, quartz, porcelain, and other stone materials

  • Read and interpret shop drawings, templates, and cut lists

  • Load, unload, and position stone slabs safely

  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Inspect finished cuts for quality, accuracy, and defects

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Work closely with fabrication and installation teams to meet production schedules

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a stone sawyer or CNC stone operator

  • Direct experience with Park Industries SaberJet (preferred)

  • Strong understanding of stone materials and cutting techniques

  • Ability to read measurements and fabrication drawings

  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

  • Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods

  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • CNC programming experience (Park Industries software)

  • Waterjet cutting experience

  • Experience in a countertop or stone fabrication shop

  • Forklift or overhead crane experience
