Job Title: Operator Treatment
Job Type: Full-Time
SUMMARY
The Water Treatment Operator is responsible for performing water treatment operations safely and effectively at various company locations. This role involves chemical dosing, water testing, and maintenance of water treatment equipment. The operator will be required to work at heights of 15 feet or more, monitor water quality, and ensure that all safety procedures are followed. Basic knowledge of oil field chemistry is a major plus.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
โขย ย ย ย Laying and picking up poly line, running transfer pumps, and essential equipment for water treatment operations
โขย ย ย ย Conducting lab tests for H2S, ORP, pH, Turbidity, TSS, iron, residual chemical, and TPH/TOG
โขย ย ย ย Performing chemical dosing of produced water based on quality, rates, and customer demands
โขย ย ย ย Loading and unloading pipe, field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks for safe transport
โขย ย ย ย Observing machine operations and adjusting controls to maintain specified conditions
โขย ย ย ย Setting and servicing pumps and generators at job sites
โขย ย ย ย Following safety procedures and using proper PPE as required
โขย ย ย ย Assisting in containment and spill clean-ups
โขย ย ย ย Communicating with other workers, using signals, radios, and telephones
โขย ย ย ย Interacting with customers and other companies on-site
โขย ย ย ย Using common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches
โขย ย ย ย Driving trucks and other vehicles to transport equipment and personnel to job sites
โขย ย ย ย Attending and completing training for DOT, OSHA, and safety certifications
โขย ย ย ย Maintaining a clean work area and completing daily reports
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
โขย ย ย ย Work is regularly performed outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme cold, heat, and wet conditions
โขย ย ย ย Exposure to moving mechanical parts and environmental factors such as high wind, ice, snow, dust, and vibration
โขย ย ย ย Prolonged sitting, standing, and walking
โขย ย ย ย Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
โขย ย ย ย Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
EDUCATION
โขย ย ย ย High School Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE
โขย ย ย ย Minimum 2 years of water logistics experience
โขย ย ย ย 3 years of experience across other disciplines in the industry
โขย ย ย ย DAF and chemical treatment experience required
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
โขย ย ย ย 1+ year of water treatment experience or equivalent training
โขย ย ย ย Strong organizational and time management skills
โขย ย ย ย Must be detail-oriented due to the necessity of safety
โขย ย ย ย Excellent oral and written communication skills
โขย ย ย ย Ability to work well in a team environment
โขย ย ย ย Knowledge of machines and tools, including design, use, repair, and maintenance
โขย ย ย ย Experience in the energy industry a plus
โขย ย ย ย Must have Valid Driverโs License
WORK SCHEDULE
โขย ย ย ย Full-time, 40 hours per week with the willingness to work additional hours as needed
