POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for assigning responsibilities to line personnel, and coordinating line activities and personnel. Monitors line’s performance for safety, quality and productivity

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assigns work and guides line personnel in completion of assignments in accordance with production schedules, utilizing labor and equipment in the most efficient manner.

  2. Performs all of the duties in accordance with the water tester process instructions.

  3. Perform the following functions.

    a) Setup and operate Digimatic Indicator. b) Setup and operate water tester. c) To be able to read and understand the B.O.M, B.O.O. and Engineer drawings. d) To assist in seamer setups and making necessary adjustments to the seamers.

    e) Filling out inspection reports completely and correctly.

  4. Keeps line supervisor aware of personnel problems so prompt action may be taken.

  5. Is mindful of improved methods or processes in completing assignments. Implements new ideas.

  6. Completes departmental paperwork as required.

  7. Monitors line to ensure adherence to quality procedures and process instructions.

  8. Responsible for keeping areas neat, clean, organized, and under control.

  9. Is responsible for the safety and quality of the work and compliance of all company procedures and policies

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Required: High school education or equivalent. Any deviations from the above requirements (e.g. substituting more work experience for required education) will be evaluated and approved by the Operations Manager.

  • Preferred: High school education and six months previous experience in a manufacturing setting.

  • Hourly pay range for this role is $21.74-$25.57
