Full Time Water Tester Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Midway Staffing is hiring dependable Hot Water Testers for a manufacturing facility in Mesquite, TX. This position involves installing engines into test cells, connecting wiring and measurement equipment, performing engine testing, recording test results, and supporting quality control. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and willing to work in a warm production environment. Previous assembly or testing experience is preferred, but candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills are encouraged to apply.

Location: Mesquite, TX
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime and occasional Fridays as needed)

• Install engines into test cells and connect required wiring and measurement equipment
• Perform engine testing using dynamometers (dynos) and computer control software
• Monitor and record engine performance, including power, torque, and emissions
• Accurately complete test logs and communicate test results
• Inspect equipment and identify any performance or quality concerns
• Use hand and power tools to prepare and support engine testing
• Follow testing procedures, work instructions, and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform other production and testing duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous assembly, mechanical, or testing experience is preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and power tools
• Comfortable working with basic computer software and recording test data
• Good math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a hot production environment (testing room is not air-conditioned)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
