At CCMC, our Water Taxi Driver helps to create memorable experiences for residents and guests by facilitating safe Duffy Boat rides around the lake.

What youll accomplish:

  • Operating an electric Duffy Boat for passengers around a lake
  • Assisting passengers on an off the vessel
  • Providing a unique and informative lake tour
  • Cleaning and maintaining designated areas
  • Assisting with lake attendant tasks including patrol
  • Following all safety protocols for loading and unloading
  • Distributing life jackets and safety instructions to passengers
  • Reporting any damage or safety concerns to the Harbor Master
  • Observing and encouraging compliance with lake rules and code of conduct
  • Serving as an informational and educational resource

What were looking for:

  • CPR certification (class and certification fee are provided)
  • Watercraft operation experience
  • High degree of customer service, interpersonal, and communications skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Leadership abilities
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state drivers license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. You must notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements.

The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:

  • Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
  • Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
