Job description

Location: Saint Theo’s Italian Restaurant

Start Date: ASAP

About Us:

Saint Theo’s is a celebrated Italian restaurant known for its fresh coastal cuisine and authentic flavors inspired by the Italian Riviera. We are committed to excellence in food, service, and hospitality. We’re currently seeking a talented Lead Line Cook to join our growing kitchen team.

Position: Prep/Line Cook (Full/Part Time)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute dishes according to recipes and quality standards

  • Lead and support line cooks during service; oversee station cleanliness and prep

  • Work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef on daily specials and prep

  • Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness in compliance with DOH regulations

  • Assist with inventory and ordering as needed

  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen (Italian cuisine a plus)

  • Proven leadership skills in a culinary environment

  • Excellent knife skills and cooking techniques

  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines

  • Punctual, dependable, and professional

Employment Information:
