Job description

Salary: $16.50/hour

Description:Historic New England seeks a seasonal part-time Guide to work at National Historic LandmarkRoseland Cottage(aka The Pink House) in Woodstock, Connecticut for the 2026 season. Guidewill conduct tours of the museum property and assist with daily museum operations includingticket and membership sales. In addition to the presentation of interpretative tours, guides willparticipate in daily care of the museum spaces and collections and assist the Site Manager withpublic programs and group tours. Training is provided.

Qualifications:Applicants should enjoy working with the public, have excellentcommunication skills, have an interest in inclusive history, and be comfortable working withcomputers. Experience in customer service desirable. Must be available some weekend daysand commit to employment through the end of the 2026 season, June - October.
