Water Operator Position Summary:
The Operator II, Water will operate and maintain assigned facilities and to actively support the Operations Lead Operator & Supervisor. The Operator will be part of an on-call rotation requiring night and weekend coverage as needed.
Hiring Requirements/Preferences for Water Operator:
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Water field or related industry required.
  • Must possess a valid and active T-1 and or D-1 Water Operator License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Demonstrated communication skills.
  • Must be computer literate in Windows and MS Office.
  • Must be available after hours and on call work as required.
  • Must possess knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • OSHA 10 General Industry Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training).
  • Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid unrestricted Driver's License.
