What is a water lab technician?

Water Lab Technicians are professionals who collect, prepare, and analyze water samples to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. They use specialized equipment to test for contaminants, such as bacteria, chemicals, and heavy metals, and report their findings to help maintain safe water supplies. Their work is essential for public health, as it helps prevent waterborne diseases and ensures compliance with environmental regulations. Water Lab Technicians often work for government agencies, environmental organizations, or private laboratories.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a water lab technician?
