This position will be responsible for operating a forklift for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, and stacking for accurate storing, shipping, relabelling, and receiving of product to meet standards of safety, security, and productivity. This position will be responsible for unloading bulk non-hazardous material deliveries. This position must be able to trouble shoot and come up with resolutions for day-to-day activities in shipping as well as be cross trained to flex over and assist in other Material Handling areas as required.

Qualifications:

Education

  • High School diploma or general equivalency diploma

Experience

  • Preferred minimum of 2-3 years warehousing experience in a chemical environment preferred.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Microsoft Office, SAP and Lotus Notes experience a plus

  • Must be able to drive a forklift and lift 55 lbs. by hand.

  • Able to work well with all departments, levels of management and peers.

  • The ability to handle multiple tasks is required.

  • Computer literate and able to operate a calculator & perform mathematical functions, operate telephone, fax machine, copier and computer printer.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.

  • The ability to operate a sweeper and scrubber

The expected compensation range for this position is between $41,070.00 and $60,236.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
