Job Posting
The City of Zimmerman seeks applicants for a Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator, responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of the current treatment facility.
Duties include but are not limited to assisting in the daily operation, monitoring and maintenance of the wastewater treatment system, testing, record keeping and reporting, and facility and grounds maintenance. Minimum qualifications: high school diploma or GED, valid MN driver's license, and experience in mechanical, maintenance, or skilled trades work. Desired qualifications: technical degree in water environmental technology, utilities maintenance or a related field, or previous experience in a wastewater treatment facility. An MPCA Class D wastewater certificate is required within 2 years of hire and a MN Class B CDL with tanker endorsement within 1 year.
