Job SummaryTYLin is seeking a process mechanical CAD/BIM Designer for our Water Team to prepare design and production of contract documents for various Water, Wastewater, Pump Station, and Pipeline projects.Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop CAD site plans, plan & profile, sections, and details for various types of water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (site civil, structural, architectural, HVAC, electrical and I&C) to help resolve design conflicts and challenges.
  • Create BIM models, Cells, Parametric Cells, and CAD based files for use in the production of contract documents.
  • Ensure drawings comply with company and client CAD/BIM standards and styles.
  • Help design teams with the assembly of submittals throughout project delivery. Other related tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires 5+ years applicable experience or demonstrated skill and at least 2-year A.S. degree from an accredited college is preferred.
  • MUST have skills with MicroStation Open Buildings (AutoCAD Civil 3D and REVIT is a Plus) in an engineering environment, preferably associated with the production of infrastructure plans. Previous work with water, wastewater, energy, and/or petrochemical industries will be highly desired.
  • Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
  • Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients' toughest challenges.
  • High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
  • Additional software considered valuable are ProjectWise, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Autodesk FORMA (BIM360, ACC).
