This position reports to:

Team Leader - Continuous Water Analyzer

In this role, you will proactively develop the Continuous Water Analyzers (CWA) business in Municipal Market segments. This will be achieved with strategic industry and consultative application development to establish approval and preference for ABB's CWA product line, solutions, and services. This will be in collaboration with ABB sales partners and ABB sales and service teams; demonstrating both commercial and technical expertise to lead sales development efforts.
The work model for this role is Hybrid out of the Southeast region with up to 50% travel required. #LI-Hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Communicating with customers on details related to delivery timelines, payments, and general terms and conditions, specifically for water quality monitoring and continuous water analyzer (CWA) solutions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.

  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and effectively communicating the value proposition of ABB's water analyzers, including process instrumentation for Turbidity, Chlorine, pH, Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, and other water quality parameters, to customers.

  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities within the water and wastewater and environmental monitoring segments, with a focus on continuous water analyzer (CWA) technologies and digital water solutions.

  • Performing and supporting installation, commissioning, calibration, and troubleshooting of continuous water analyzer (CWA) systems, including diagnostics for Turbidity, Chlorine, pH, Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, and other water quality parameters, to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in chemistry or mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering with 10+ years of proven and directly relatable industry experience (or just equivalent years of experience)

  • 5+ years of direct technical experience with CWA products and applications in a sales, service, or end user role

  • Experience working with and developing sales partners and sales teams preferred; Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skills required

  • Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time domestically (international on occasion, but rare)

  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
