Job Title: Water Mitigation Technician

Job Description

This position requires working from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with daily travel to various job sites unless directed otherwise. The role focuses on restoring buildings affected by water, fire, or other types of damage. Proficiency in all aspects of carpentry is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Restore buildings that have experienced water, fire, or other damages.
  • Supervise unskilled labor and other employees, as well as occasional sub-contractors, in various settings including residential, commercial, multi-family, industrial, and institutional.
  • Handle high-risk/high-exposure or complex projects.
  • Answer basic project-related questions and defer more complex inquiries to qualified personnel.
  • Maintain equipment used in daily tasks.
  • Perform emergency services such as board-ups and securing buildings against further damage.
  • Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain the vehicle in clean, serviceable condition.
  • Safeguard other people's property according to standards.
  • Complete additional duties as required.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in water mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, and moisture detection.
  • Advanced technical skills in moisture diagnostics, controlled demolition, and water handling.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of commercial construction.
  • Experience with power tools, tape measures, demolition, and hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
