Join the Movement for Clean Water!

Are you passionate about the environment and looking to kick-start your career in the nonprofit sector? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in grassroots advocacy while making a real impact? 

Clean Water Action is hiring full-time and part-time Grassroots Organizers in Northampton, MA to join our Field Canvass team! 

As part of the team, you will:

Engage with communities to educate, fundraise, and mobilize support for Clean Water Action's policy priorities, such as combating climate change, advocating for clean water affordability, and banning toxic chemicals.

Raise awareness and funds to sustain critical environmental and public health initiatives.

Advocate for bold legislative action to address systemic issues, including utility affordability and corporate accountability.

What We Offer

Evening Hours 

September- May (2:00 PM- 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday)

June-August (3:00 PM- 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday)

Full time positions between 32.5 and 40 hours a week

Paid training and professional development in grassroots organizing and advocacy.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 day a week commitment 

Passion for environmental and social justice issues.

Strong oral communication skills.

Interest in nonprofit work, grassroots organizing, or policy advocacy.

This is an IN-PERSON role based in Northampton, MA. You must be within 1hr driving distance of the office or plan to relocate to qualify for employment.
