Department OverviewThe Mobile Video team consists of WatchGuard Video and Vigilant Solutions. Both are wholly owned subsidiaries of Motorola Solutions. WatchGuard is the world's largest producer of in-car video systems and body-worn cameras specifically designed for the law enforcement market. Vigilant's product line consists of LPR, Facial Recognition, and Parking. Developed for law enforcement, by law enforcement, Vigilant Solutions has created the most comprehensive online platform for generating investigative leads for law enforcement agencies throughout the world.
Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading a sales team within designated region, strategic account planning, and overall relationship management for existing and new customers

  • Align the Mobile Video sales team to the Motorola Solutions' territory teams and key work partners to enhance sales & execution (internal and external partners)

  • Establish a collaborative, energetic and exciting working environment as the leader of the region

  • Hold sales team accountable for achieving/exceeding the Committed View (CV) forecast

  • Utilize strong leadership and communication skills to cast a clear vision to execute the strategy.

  • Provide an environment where changes in market focus, product performance, and customer requirements are communicated and acted upon.

  • Establish an environment of ownership while understanding the business goals for the territory and the individual contributors for achieving those goals.

  • Set go-to-market strategies both with direct and indirect selling resources

  • Generate a long-term, multiple-year sales pipeline and accounts to pursue

  • Create, strengthen, and manage reseller and Motorola manufacturer representative organizations

  • Develop strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the existing customer base

  • Support sales team in negotiating large contracts

  • Resolve complex customer service and satisfaction issues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience

  • OR 8+ years of sales/public safety experience

  • 1+ years of leadership experience preferred

  • Help drive product decisions and support decisions to support our customers existing and future needs

  • Develop Motorola procurement vehicles for multiple solutions to be leveraged across an entire "target" account

  • Attract into the organization and develop a diverse pool of future leaders

  • A track record of making or exceeding assigned sales goals

  • Excellent negotiation skills

Location/Travel:

  • Preferred candidate will reside in Illinois

  • Travel: Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time

  • Territory: IL, IN, KY, IA, NB, KS, MO

Target Base Salary Range: $135,000 -$145,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
