Mid-Level Financial Services Associate Attorney

An elite Washington, D.C.โ€“based practice is seeking a sharp, business-minded mid-level associate (Class Years 2019โ€“2021) to join its sophisticated Financial Services team. This group guides major U.S. and global financial institutions, fintech innovators, and emerging digital asset companies through complex regulatory, enforcement, and transactional challenges.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Advise on federal and state banking regulations, anti-money-laundering obligations, consumer protection rules, fintech product design, and cryptocurrency regulatory frameworks.
  • Support clients navigating investigations, compliance reviews, supervisory actions, and high-stakes regulatory inquiries.
  • Contribute to legislative and policy matters shaping the future of financial services.
  • Take ownership of research, drafting, and strategy development, working both independently and collaboratively within a large, integrated team.
What Youโ€™ll Bring
  • 4โ€“6 years of experience in bank regulatory, AML, consumer finance, fintech, or digital assets work.
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical abilities, with the judgment to handle complex, evolving issues.
