Job description

Role overview

You’ll support warehouse operations by receiving inbound freight, organizing stock, picking and shipping customer orders, rotating inventory, labeling products, inspecting stock, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse area.

What you’ll do

  • Receive and put away inbound freight according to warehouse procedures.
  • Pick and ship customer orders and 3PL items.
  • Move products to and from manufacturing areas.
  • Rotate inventory using FIFO and FEFO methods.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse stocking area.
  • Receive and tag warehouse items with barcode labels, pallet tags, and allergen stickers.
  • Keep stocked items organized, allergen-separated, and easy to access.
  • Inspect inventory for defects or damage and report issues to inventory control.
  • Report ingredient quality defects to the quality control team.
  • Follow safety rules and warehouse procedures.

What you’ll need

  • High school diploma and 1 year of warehouse operations experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years of experience using RF scanning systems.
  • 2 years of forklift and reach truck experience.
  • Knowledge or experience using an order picker and scissor lift.
  • Experience operating reach trucks, hi-lows, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
  • Knowledge of FIFO inventory methods.
  • Ability to work from pick lists and system-driven reports.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong working relationships.
  • Detail-oriented work style with standard math skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Sound understanding and application of safety rules and regulations.
