The Company:

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping Associate to support our outbound operations. This role is responsible for preparing shipments, generating shipping documentation, and ensuring all orders are processed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and experienced in shipping processes and systems. The pay range for this role is fixed at $19 to $21 hourly, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates with strong, relevant experience may be offered salaries toward the higher end of the range, while those earlier in their careers can expect offers aligned with the entry level of the range.   
 

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently  

  • Create  shipping documentation  

  • Process shipments through carriers   

  • Generate, manage, and distribute daily shipping lists  

  • Verify shipment details including weights, dimensions, and order accuracy  

  • Coordinate with shipping, logistics, and warehouse teams to meet daily deadlines  

  • Maintain organized shipping areas and ensure proper staging of outgoing orders  

  • Follow company procedures and safety guidelines 

  •  Assist with additional projects, tasks, and perform other duties as assigned.  
     

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy  

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Knowledge of shipping processes and documentation

  • Understanding of weights and dimensions for shipping  

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software/systems  

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team  
     

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 

  • Previous warehouse experience (2+ years preferred)  

  • Spanish language skills are a plus 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods 

  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 15 pounds 

  • Frequent bending, squatting, and repetitive movements 

Work Environment: 

  • Fast-paced warehouse setting with moderate noise levels

Kinter is located on the outskirts of Waukegan, just minutes from Gurnee and Wadsworth. Office and warehouses are located off IL Route 41, which makes the commute easy from surrounding towns.
