Description

Position Summary

The Warehouse & Shipping Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our facility. This position is responsible for shipping, receiving, organizing, and dispatching inventory while coordinating outbound shipments with carriers and internal teams. The role also requires a commitment to organizing and maintaining an orderly, clean warehouse to promote safety, efficiency, and a productive work environment The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments; report discrepancies or damaged goods promptly
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders accurately according to packing slips and shipping requirements
  • Coordinate with freight carriers, couriers, and logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries
  • Generate and process shipping labels, bills of lading (BOL), and customs documentation as needed
  • Maintain organized inventory storage using proper labeling, slotting, and rotation (FIFO)
  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (certification required or provided)
  • Conduct cycle counts and participate in physical inventory audits
  • Monitor and update inventory levels in the warehouse management system (WMS)
  • Communicate shipping status updates to internal stakeholders and customers
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Load outbound shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution, securing of freight, and accuracy against manifests
  • Assist with special projects, returns processing, and overflow tasks as assigned






Requirements

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent

4+ years of experience in a warehouse, shipping, or logistics role

Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs unassisted; stand, bend, and reach for extended periods

Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, shipping software)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Preferred

Experience with a WMS (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, ShipBob, ShipStation)

Forklift certification

Familiarity with domestic and international shipping regulations

Experience with FedEx, UPS, USPS, or LTL/FTL freight carriers


Work Environment & Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday; overtime and weekend shifts may be required seasonally

Warehouse environment - exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and physical activity

Steel-toed boots and appropriate PPE required
