Mission

I am looking for an accounting analyst to cover a parental leave position through September 2027. The role is with a food industry company in Laval.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, sending out account statements, and following up on collections.
  • Managing accounts payable, processing invoices, and tracking payments.
  • Entering accounting data and maintaining up-to-date customer, supplier, and product records.
  • Perform various accounting reconciliations and analyses, including expense tracking.
  • Process purchase receipts and ensure the accuracy of inventory costs.
  • Participate in the management and reconciliation of inventories across various warehouses.
  • Prepare certain administrative reports and filings, including IFTA filings.
  • Issue credit memos and track merchandise returns.
  • Provide quality customer service and respond to requests from customers and suppliers.
  • Participate in the accounting management of the production division, including tracking costs and inventory.
  • Contribute to process improvement and the implementation of new systems.
  • Perform any other related tasks

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (Required)
  • Experience in the food industry
  • Bilingual in French and English to communicate with customers and suppliers in other countries
  • Must have a vehicle to travel to various locations in Laval
