Le/la Préparateur(trice) de commandes est responsable de la sélection, de l’emballage et de l’expédition des pièces, tout en assurant l’exactitude et la qualité des opérations d’entrepôt. Ce rôle est essentiel pour garantir un traitement efficace des commandes et une expérience client optimale dans un environnement dynamique et axé sur la production.

Responsabilités

  • Sélectionner et vérifier les pièces en fonction des bons de commande, en s’assurant de la conformité des quantités, des numéros de pièces et des spécifications.
  • Utiliser des scanners RF ainsi que des systèmes ERP ou WMS pour enregistrer avec précision les mouvements d’inventaire et mettre à jour les données en temps réel.
  • Emballer les commandes de manière sécuritaire, inspecter les produits avant l’emballage et préparer les boîtes, caisses ou palettes pour l’expédition.
  • Effectuer des tâches de manutention de matériel, incluant le déplacement et la préparation des marchandises pour le picking, le packing et la livraison.
  • Participer aux inventaires périodiques, recevoir les marchandises à la réception et les ranger adéquatement dans l’entrepôt.
  • Utiliser des équipements de manutention tels que chariots élévateurs (incluant stand-up forklift), transpalettes manuels et transpalettes électriques pour déplacer les palettes et les charges.
  • Effectuer des activités de préparation de commandes dans un environnement rapide, incluant le picking d’articles, le packing et la consolidation des commandes.

Job Description

The Warehouse Worker / Order Picker is responsible for selecting, packing, and shipping parts while ensuring the accuracy and quality of all warehouse operations. This role is essential to efficient order processing and to delivering an optimal customer experience in a dynamic, production-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Select and verify parts against order forms, ensuring quantities, part numbers, and specifications are correct.
  • Use RF scanners and ERP or WMS systems to accurately record inventory movements and update data in real time.
  • Pack orders safely, inspect products before packing, and prepare boxes, crates, or pallets for shipment.
  • Perform material handling tasks, including moving and staging goods for picking, packing, and delivery.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts, receive incoming goods, and store them properly in the warehouse.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (including stand-up forklifts), manual pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks to move pallets and loads.
  • Carry out order picking activities in a fast-paced environment, including picking items, packing, and consolidating orders.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations by preparing outgoing shipments and verifying incoming deliveries.
  • Report any issues or discrepancies related to orders or inventory, such as missing parts or quantity errors, and contribute to continuous improvement of logistics processes.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain an organized, efficient, and safe work environment.
