Job description

Receiving Group Leader
Lead the Team. Drive Accuracy. Keep Operations Moving.
KYB Americas Corporation is looking for a motivated and organized Receiving Group Leader to join our Distribution Center team. If you're a hands-on leader with warehouse experience who enjoys coaching employees, improving processes, and ensuring inventory accuracy, we want to hear from you!
In this role, you'll lead the daily operations of our Receiving Department, ensuring inbound shipments are processed safely, accurately, and efficiently while supporting a high-performing team.
What You'll Do
As our Receiving Group Leader, you will:
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Receiving Department.
  • Coordinate the unloading, receiving, labeling, and inventory placement of inbound freight.
  • Ensure shipments are received accurately under the correct purchase orders.
  • Verify product quantities and inspect for damages, shortages, or quality concerns.
  • Report and initiate vendor claims for damaged, incorrect, or missing freight.
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately entered into the S2K system.
  • Coordinate inventory transfers with the Packaging and Returns departments.
  • Monitor cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and bin locations.
  • Coordinate Receiving and Overstock Reach Truck Drivers.
  • Oversee the movement of returnable dunnage and shuttle shipments between facilities.
  • Train and coach team members on safety, quality, and departmental procedures.
  • Maintain receiving documentation, including Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Receiving Reports, S2K records, and DocuWare files.
  • Communicate shipment status and aging purchase orders with DC leadership.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Leadership Responsibilities
This position provides daily leadership, coaching, and direction for a team that includes:
  • Receiving Team Leader
  • 10-12 Receiving and Overstock Reach Truck Drivers

You'll help build a positive, safety-focused culture while supporting employee development and operational excellence.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand and move throughout the workday.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including a reach truck, as needed.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Frequently bend, twist, and move throughout the warehouse.
  • Work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature changes.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toe footwear and other safety equipment as required.
