They often use equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and may also be responsible for maintaining safety and cleanliness in the workspace. This role is essential for keeping warehouse and production processes running smoothly and efficiently.

What are some common challenges warehouse production assistants face, and how can they effectively manage them?

Job description

Job Opportunity: Warehouse & Production Assistant
Location: Las Vegas, NV 89119 Type: Full-Time / Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM - 4 PM
About the Role
Are you someone who likes to see a project go from a digital file to a massive, physical reality? We are a premier Large Format Printing company looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our production team.
In this role, you aren't just moving boxes; you are the backbone of our workflow. You'll handle high-value materials (think giant vinyl rolls) and ensure our finished graphics are packed perfectly for delivery to some of the biggest brands.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Inventory Management: Receiving and organizing heavy rolls of vinyl, decal, and canvas.
  • Production Support: Using cutting tools to prep materials for the print team to the shipping department.
  • Quality Control: Checking finished prints for scratches, ink defects, or size inaccuracies before they leave the building.
  • Packing & Shipping: Carefully packing oversized graphics to ensure they arrive at the client site damage-free.
  • Facility Maintenance: Keeping the warehouse clean.
What We're Looking For
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and maneuver large, awkward materials.
  • Exceptional attention to detail. In our world, an inch off is a mile off.
  • Experience with (or willingness to learn) warehouse equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts and basic power tools.
  • Reliability: We work on tight deadlines for major events. Being on time is non-negotiable.
  • Previous experience in a print shop, sign shop, or handling specialty textiles is a plus but not necessary.
