Job description

Description

The Second Shift Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders for shipment during the second shift. This role focuses on reviewing order details, locating items within the warehouse, and preparing orders to move through the fulfillment process. Once picked and packed, orders are routed to inspection and then shipping to ensure accuracy and quality prior to final shipment.


Schedule
Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM


 Key Responsibilities  

  • Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on customer orders
  • Pack orders securely to ensure safe handling through the fulfillment process
  • Verify item numbers, quantities, and order details during the picking and packing process
  • Stage completed orders for the inspection team prior to shipment
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness within the warehouse work area
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

Experience with the following computer applications is beneficial:

  • Microsoft Windows-based programs including Word and Excel
  • QuickShip or similar shipping software
  • Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) or similar ERP systems
  • Ability to navigate online resources such as engineering manuals
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal coworkers via email and instant messaging
