Are you a safety-conscious professional with an eye for detail? We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join our client’s team. In this role, you’ll be a key player in the supply chain, ensuring that food products are handled safely, stored correctly, and shipped with precision.


Position –Warehouse Associate

Job Location –Appleton

Starting Date –ASAP

Employment Term –Temp to hire

Employment Type –Full time

Work Hours (Shift) –1st shift

Starting Pay –$18+

Required Experience –At least 1 year of experience



Responsibilities

  • Warehouse Operations: Load/unload shipments, verify documentation (BOLs/Packing Slips), and stage materials for production while maintaining a clean, SQF-compliant environment.
  • Forklift Mastery: Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment, performing daily safety inspections and following strict traffic patterns.
  • Inventory Integrity: Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, proper labeling, and meticulous record-keeping of lot codes and quantities to ensure full traceability.
  • Quality & Safety: Maintain a "safety-first" mindset, following FIFO rotation, GMPs, and sanitation protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure audit readiness.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous background in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or food manufacturing is preferred.
  • Certification: Current forklift certification (or the ability/willingness to obtain one).
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately track inventory spreadsheets and spot discrepancies before they become issues.
  • Compliance: A strong understanding of food safety, SOPs, and regulatory standards (SQF/FDA).
  • Communication: Strong verbal skills; Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus!
