Fischer Paper Products -Warehouse Associate (Full-Time)

Join Our Team!

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Antioch, IL. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our products are received, handled, and shipped efficiently and safely. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy hands-on work, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do
  • Primary Responsibilities
    • Move finished goods that have been staged and palletized on the production floor to the shipping and receiving area.
    • Prepare finished products for shipment by properly wrapping and securing all pallets.
    • Load and unload products and raw materials from trucks.
    • Receive incoming goods, verify items against shipping records, inspect for damage, and route materials to the appropriate department.
    • Maintain high accuracy in product selection while efficiently and safely loading trucks to support on-time, error-free deliveries.
    • Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections and report any defects, damage, or safety concerns immediately.
    • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including:
      • Walkie riders
      • Reach trucks (with camera systems)
      • Sit-down forklifts
      • Clamp trucks
      • Floor scrubbers
    • Create and manage bales of recycled paper and dispose of them as necessary.
    • Retrieve recycling containers (gondolas) and empty them into the baler throughout the day.
    • Assist production staff with collecting and emptying garbage bins at the end of the day, as needed.
    • Perform daily warehouse and shipping area cleanup duties.
Food Safety & Compliance

Follow all company safety and food quality standards, including:

  • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • HACCP guidelines
  • GFSI standards
  • Sanitation and safety policies
Shift Schedule

???? Day Shift Position - Monday – Friday | 6:40 AM – 4:00 PM (overtime may be required based on business needs)

What We’re Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
    At least 6 months of warehouse or related experience
    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
  • Team player with strong attention to detail
    Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, WMS)
    Experience with ERP or inventory systems is a plus.
