Job description

Almac Group is currently seeking a Warehouse Operative Grade 1 -Weekend Shift for our Durham, NC location. The Warehouse Operative Grade 1 is responsible for carrying out all material handling and inventory control activities required within a standard computerized warehouse environment servicing a distribution operation.
Weekend Shift:
Friday/Saturday/Sunday 730am- 8pm
15% shift differential
Training for this role will be 1st Shift, M-F and will go for about 1-month or longer
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Pick material in preparation for dispatch to the customer.
  • Inventory verifications/ Inventory movement.
  • Perform second checks on temperature monitor programs for shipping staff.
  • Competently operate forklifts, material handling equipment and company vehicles.
  • Ensure that the warehouse is maintained to the highest possible standard of housekeeping.
Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:
  • High School Diploma/GED
Preferred Experience / Education:
  • Clinical Trials, pharma, biotech, or other regulated industry
  • Working with a wireless inventory management system
  • Computerized inventory systems
  • ERP system(s)
