Warehouse Operations Team LeaderSummaryThe Warehouse Operations Team Leader is responsible for guiding the daily activities of the warehouse team while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. This role oversees personnel, inventory processes, workflow coordination, and administrative functions to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant operations. The Team Leader plays a critical role in developing team capabilities, strengthening departmental processes, and supporting long-term operational excellence. This position is located in our corporate office located in Mason, OH.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Apply in-depth knowledge of warehouse, inventory, and logistics processes to interpret procedures, resolve non-standard issues, and recommend enhancements that improve departmental performance.
- Provide daily coaching, constructive feedback, and clear work direction to team members to reinforce standard work, close performance gaps, and support ongoing skill development.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate weekly work schedules aligned with workload demands and staffing requirements.
- Lead assigned warehouse areas to achieve accuracy, productivity, safety, and service-level targets, escalating systemic challenges and partnering with leadership to address root causes.
- Actively participate in the safety committee and champion a proactive, safety-first culture across the department.
- Support the RGA process by ensuring accurate part identification, documentation, and timely processing.
- Assist with RPC part identification and photographic documentation to maintain data accuracy and traceability.
- Coordinate expedited international imports and ensure timely delivery to meet customer expectations.
- Monitor SAP reports to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee daily workflow, resolving operational conflicts, staffing gaps, and exceptions requiring sound judgment and cross-functional coordination.
- Manage outsourced services related to logistics equipment maintenance and shipping supplies to ensure operational readiness.
- Perform and support warehouse system transactions, documentation, and record-keeping to maintain process integrity and compliance.
Qualifications - Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
- Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of warehouse best practices, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to coach, train, and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Education and Experience - Associate degree in warehouse/logistics management or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse experience, including supervisory or team leadership responsibilities.
