Operations Manager

Production, Shipping & Warehouse Start Up


Chemtek is seeking an experienced and motivated manager with the drive and leadership skills to open a new blending and warehouse facility in Waterloo, IA. This position is key to ensuring our products are manufactured, packaged, and delivered on time-safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards.


This is a "Hands On" working supervisor's position where you will not only lead, but work in each role, learning the businss annd buillding your team.


What You'll Do

Manufacturing & Warehouse Operations

  • Be the "Go-To" guy as we start up production and warehouse activities from an empty building to a working unit.
  • Help in procurement, placement and start-up of blending and warehouse operatiojns.
  • Hire and supervise a small team of a small team of 2-3 Employees
  • Oversee day-to-day manufacturing, warehousing and shipping operations

Shipping & Logistics

  • Manage all shipping operations to guarantee on-time deliveries.
  • Coordinate packaging and quality control to meet customer expectations.

Safety & Quality

  • Lead and enforce safety safety protocols.
  • Maintain high-quality standards throughout production and shipping.

Customer Experience

  • Support Chemtek's "customer first" philosophy by ensuring every order leaves our facility correct, compliant, and on time.

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, shipping, or plant operations.
  • Proven leadership and managerial experience.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A hands-on leader who motivates teams and drives continuous improvement.
  • A willingess to do wahtever it takes to get the job done.
