The Warehouse Manager will work closely with ESR's Inside and Outside Sales teams and Regional Operations Manager to prioritize orders, respond to urgent requirements, resolve inventory or fulfillment issues, and keep the operation running efficiently. Because our customers rely on ESR for accurate inventory and fast, dependable fulfillment, this role has a direct impact on the customer experience.

As the Rock Hill operation grows, this position may also take on responsibility for training and leading additional warehouse personnel.

Why Join ESR?
  • Take real ownership of warehouse operations at ESR's headquarters and have a direct impact on customer service.
  • Work closely with experienced sales, operations, and company leadership in a responsive, team-oriented environment.
  • Have the autonomy to improve warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, processes, and operating standards.
  • Join a growing company where strong performance can lead to broader operational and leadership responsibility.
Responsibilities
  • Manage daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, shipping, and inventory activities.
  • Review sales orders and shipping requirements to ensure customer orders are completed accurately, properly protected, and on time.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through disciplined receiving, cycle counts, physical inventories, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Coordinate closely with Inside and Outside Sales on order status, product availability, expedited needs, special handling, customer pickups, and issues that could affect customer commitments.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight with carriers, vendors, customers, and other ESR locations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse with clearly identified and properly stored inventory.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Perform electric motor modifications as required, including motor disassembly, installation and replacement of components, and proper reassembly.
  • Provide occasional after-hours shipping support when urgent customer or business needs require.
  • Investigate shipping, inventory, and fulfillment problems; identify root causes and take corrective action.
  • Work with the Regional Operations Manager to identify equipment needs, inventory issues, and opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, industrial supply company, or similar environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, inventory control, and warehouse organization.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn and perform electric motor modifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to inventory and shipping accuracy.
  • Ability to organize competing priorities, work independently, and respond effectively to urgent customer and operational needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, accountability, reliability, and follow-through.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work closely with sales, customers, vendors, and freight carriers.
  • Comfortable using ERP or inventory management systems, email, and standard computer applications.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work on your feet for extended periods, and perform the physical duties associated with warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work on-site each workday at ESR's Rock Hill warehouse.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Warehouse or operations experience in industrial distribution, electrical distribution, MRO, or a related industry.
  • Experience with electric motors, variable frequency drives, gearboxes, power transmission products, or related industrial equipment.
  • Previous lead, supervisory, or warehouse management experience.
  • Current forklift certification.

Benefits

  • 100% employer-paid employee-only medical and dental premiums
  • Choice of an HSA medical plan or a traditional copay plan, with employer-funded HRA support

  • Overtime opportunities when business needs require work beyond the normal schedule.
